EXERGY MODELING AND OPTIMIZATION OF LOW TEMPERATURE THERMAL NETWORKS

The LowNeX thesis project consists in developing an exergy-based decision support tool to model and optimize low temperature thermal networks.

The objective is to build a methodology applicable in industry for calculating exergy losses by validating the models with the industrial partner SCDC (Société Chambérienne de Distribution de Chaleur, ENGIE Réseaux) and by formulating recommendations for the design of the low temperature district network of the BlueFactory (BlueCAD project).
