The project is intended to prove the technical feasibility of a flooring system made of wood and alternative lightweight concrete ('WooCon' wood-based concrete) as an alternative to concrete pre-slabs.

It is composed of multiple small solid wood sections as self-supporting lost form-work, of which the connections are optimised by digital manufacturing, finally integrated in a monolithic wood-based concrete poured on site, also providing significant physical performance to the building.
