Measurement of the hydraulic and depollution performance of a new runoff water treatment system on a SBB test site

SBB has to update its railways runoff water treatment systems to comply with current legislation. New technical solutions are being sought that respect track operating constraints. As part of the Léman 2030 project, a test track between Lausanne and Renens has been set up to measure the hydraulic and depollution performance of the new runoff water treatment system.

In addition to the calculated performance, the aim is also to determine what civil engineering measures are needed to include such systems and carry out spot checks to verify proper operation.
