Sampling and data processing methods for the assessment of the depuration performances of runoff water treatment systems (SETEC).

Motorway pavement water drainage systems are infrastructures distributed along the traffic routes. They require maintenance and renovation to meet legal requirements. Federal Roads Office (FEDRO) technical documentation explains the procedure to be implemented. It requires verification of the proper functioning of old installations and the calculation of the drainage performance of new installations.

This project is intended to produce a technical note setting out good practice in sampling, data processing and calculation of uncertainties. These three steps are necessary for the monitoring and calculation of SETEC performance. In addition, the project highlights the impact that operational choices made during monitoring have had on the precision of calculated data and associated uncertainties.
