This project aims to integrate the biographical dimension into approaches that deal with residential qualities. Using retrospective research, it identifies the mobility and residential preferences of different profiles of typical inhabitants, all users of the same environment.

More specifically, this project has three objectives:

  • development of a survey tool to capture residential mobility and the evolution of residential preferences throughout the life course;
  • identification of recurrent patterns of evolution within the different typical profiles of inhabitants;
  • identification of the degree of correspondence between the residential preferences of the typical profiles and their current living location.
